As the pressures and expectations on our young people grow, they are often faced with the responsibility of choosing between their studies and what seems right for their health and well-being. More and more young people are feeling the effects of stress on their bodies and minds. That’s why it’s so important to help them understand how to balance work and play, while nurturing mind, body and spirit.

The carefully chosen activities on this Quest option aim to provide students with the skills, strategies and instincts to make smart choices for their mind and body and to nurture resilience and strength of spirit during difficult times.

Activities will include:

  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Mindfulness based stress reduction: Students will explore mindfulness relaxation and practice the power of positive psychology
  • Food/cooking activities and visits
  • Power walking/hiking
  • Artistic elements such as t-shirt printing and painting.
  • A service based activity

The full list of activities will be decided upon once students have chosen the Quest week option, so they can vote on their favourite activities and we can put a finalised itinerary together.

Each day’s lunch will have a focus on health and wellness
